Space Station: Alpha

Something has gone wrong, the space station you're on has been hit. Keep yourself alive in a decaying space station and find a way to escape!

First time players are recommended to go through the tutorial first. Though unlikely, it is possible that during gameplay the run can become unwinnable.

History: 

This game was originally created for a game jam, with the game being revised for release.  A new remastered version, with improved graphics, functionality, and UI, is currently under development.

Menu Controls:

• Arrow keys to select option
• X or V to select option
• Z or C to open/close instructions
• Ctrl+M to turn off sounds
• Enter to open pause menu

Game Controls:

• Arrow keys to move (move into objects to repair or pickup)
• X or V to repair (surrounding 8 tiles)
• Z or C to wait/fix/shoot (gun and ammo required)
• X+Z to eject from suit (ends game)
• Ctrl+M to turn off sounds
• Enter to open pause menu

Mobile Controls:

• Very similar except in the virtual handset the O button represents the Z key

Controllers:

• You can use any game controllers recognized by SDL with PICO-8

Browser Edition:

The free-to-play browser version contains an interactive tutorial, 3x3 and 4x4 modes to play. 

Demo Edition:

A downloadable version of the free-to-play browser edition available for Linux, Mac, Windows, and Raspberry Pi.

Premium Edition:

Purchasing the game will grant access to standalone downloads for Linux, Mac, Windows and Raspberry Pi. The premium version unlocks the 5x5 and Daily Run modes. The Daily Run creates a random 2x2 to 5x5 map, which refreshes every day at midnight, with an additional 9 room types to draw from. Source code is not included
