PicoQuest Darkness Rising DLC Support is coming soon!

After many years of learning LUA and how Pico-8 works I’ve understood it well enough to add in some functionality I wanted when I first created PicoQuest Darkness Rising, and that’s DLC Support. It was always the intention to have it but I couldn’t figure it out, well that time has passed now. The implementation of adding the DLC Support is nearly complete, just a few more things then it will be working.

For the initial release I plan on simply adding some additional downloadable missions for you to play, along with a README file explaining how the file structure works. I warn you though, it’ll be… awkward. It wasn’t originally coded the best but it’ll work, for now…

At some point in the future I might design an additional editor to allow you to more easily and quickly create levels (or it might ship with it, depends on how hard it is for me to create additional levels for the game).
